Does anyone have experience with inflatable kayaks? Hubby and I are wondering if one would be good enough for novice, occasional kayakers. They’re less than half the price of hard shell tandem kayaks.

We’re definitely wanting a 2-person sit-on-top kayak so we can take Lucy along and I can stop paddling whenever I feel like it. (hehehe) Oh, and…in case we get caught in a strong current I won’t be fending for myself.

I almost didn’t have a chance to post today. I spent the tail end of last week and half the day today helping hubby with a painting job. The cool part is that he’s painting my new office and I got to have a lot of say in the colors. The blue (Behr “Bon Voyage”) came out kind of crazy bright (I was pushing for a slightly more neutral gray blue but I got outvoted) but now that the cubicles are all in place it looks much better. The green (PPG “Dill”) and dark brown (SW “Black Fox”) everyone liked from our last office so we decided to use them again. Here are some pictures from our painting adventures. Jason did all the edging and I did the majority of the rolling.
And after a whole day of being well behaved (for the most part) I couldn’t resist this graffiti urge:
