Thanks for stopping by!
I'd love to hear from you. My email is m*ahlbrandt*@gmail*.com (remove *s).
awesome!! looks so great! and lucy loves it, obviously…
Lucy either thinks the room is for her or she’s patiently waiting for some kids to give her lots of love and attention.
Looks like Lucy is patiently waiting, just as you are!
So cute! So, are you officially at the point where you’re just waiting for call? (I know you’re either there or super close. 🙂 )
Bella, we’re waiting for the home study writer to call us and schedule appointments. I’ve been telling people we’re 2/3 of the way to certification. Classes are done, paperwork is done, we just have the home study left. Thanks for asking! 🙂
love it! we just took down our crib and I want the kura bed next…was it easy to put together?
It wasn’t difficult, it just took a long time. There are around 300 pieces!
YAY!! I am so excited for you guys! And from one foster parent to the next, buy an infant car seat. If you are referred an infant from the hospital you will have to bring the carseat in and you aren’t wheelchaired out to your car, as if you gave birth. Carrying that convertible would be near impossible. Plus the chances of them being 5lbs is very real. I wouldn’t put my 5 pounder in a convertable. Or when you do your homestudy just have a baby one on hand from one of your friends. For my homestudy they had to look at your carseats. You can buy one the day of the call if need be. I have three infant car seats. If you lived close I would give you one. ahhaha
PS. if they haven’t already, whoever offered to help babysit should start the process to get respite certified. There was a big gap for us and that stunk.
