Since I now have an excuse to have babies on my brain, I’ve been keeping an eye out for all things baby-cool.
Check out this multifunctional bassinet/rocker called Koo that I saw on Design Milk. Baby sleeps in the bassinet until feeding time. Mom can rock baby back to sleep after nursing. Smart, huh?

LOVE IT!! It would be perfect for in my bedroom beside the bed! (Too bad I didn’t know about it with #1 instead of #3…) 🙂
Congrats on the baby thoughts! I found your blog somehow in the mid-century blog world. My husband and I have a blog about house stuff too. Anyway, we are believers and I love how you integrate your faith into your blog.
(Baby thoughts are for my sis-in-law.) Thanks for the sweet comment. 🙂
YOu know… I saw this before, and it looks interesting, but in my limited 4 month experience, it seems sort of silly… it looks uncomfortable, and with nursing, espeically when you are tired and just starting out, you need support under your arms and a cozy place to snuggle. In the beginning I just pulled chloe into bed with me and co-slept a bit until she was ready for crib around month 2. It just looks so weird. Maybe I’m wrong, but this was just my impression when I looked at this thing. I prefer a cozy glider myself 😉
I have heard that comfy is best … but I tend to choose style over comfort in a lot of cases. We’ll see what I end up with someday when we’re rocker shopping.
It’s not just you, Rachel. The only reason I would try it is b/c I don’t have room in my bedroom for a glider and a bassinet! My favorite place to nurse is in my recliner. Huge comfy chair to put my feet up in… and no danger of dropping baby if I fall asleep. 🙂
