We’re considering a few paint choices for the bathroom walls, each in the pale greenish bluish gray range. I saved this photo a while back because I thought Sherwin Williams Window Pane would be perfect with our teal blue and green shower tiles.
(sorry I can’t recall the source.)
But, it’s too light & bright:
Here’s Contented (below):
Rainwashed: (Fitting name.)
And our current top choice, Sea Salt:
Sea Salt actually looks—on the chip and in the above photoshop mock-up—like Window Pane in my inspiration photo, don’t you think?
(Sidenote: I think Sherwin Williams has the best colors. They also have a very cool, interactive Color Visualizer on their website. And they just opened a new store in our neighborhood. Yay!)
Which color do you think works best with our tile?
I like Sea Salt too.
sea salt!
I’ve been following your bathroom renovation. Great job! I like Sea Salt also.
Sea Salt would be my first choice, then Contented. Looks great!
you know I’m on the brighter side, when it comes to colors 😉 I like contented, it brings out the green tiles… and I think it will look great with that nice yellowish wood vanity. but the sea salt is nice too! miss you guys
I like Rainwashed the best – I find it very soothing. To be honest, I find Sea Salt a little dull. But then, I have a similar color in my kitchen and love it there, so who am I to talk?
Rainwashed is my first choice of color, always. My last home was a 1925 english cottage, and it was in my dining room, living room and hallway. It looks different at different times of day, and is neutral enough not to be jarring.
Currently, my husband and I live in a 1956 time capsule house, and the living room and hallway are both rainwashed. It’s my favorite color, and matches so many choices from my barkcloth collection that I can’t believe it.
It makes me feel so much better to see other people agonizing over their paint color choices!!! 🙂
