I am loving on a foster kiddo today that we’re hoping to adopt. Kiddo has been with the current foster family for over a year and calls them mom and dad, but within minutes of picking the little one up, I was mommy. While my heart soared with the sentiment, it also ached because the little one doesn’t have a forever home yet and doesn’t understand proper attachment.
